The Huron-Perth Centre for Children and Youth is an
accredited Children's Mental Health Centre, funded primarily
by the
Ministry of
Children and Youth.
This service provides a specialized team approach using several disciplines to serve multi-need, complex-need children from birth to six and their families. Each team has a Counselor/Family Therapist and a specialist in early childhood development with access to psychological and psychiatric consultation as needed.
The team works in close collaboration with physicians/pediatricians, public health nurses, child care staff and other community professionals involved with the child and family.
